He has always had a fascination for art and began drawing at an early age, drawing anything and everything of interest to a young boy. Winner of a Commonwealth University Scholarship, he attended the University of NSW and then the University of Queensland and holds a B.Sc., a B.A. and a Diploma of Education. During this time he illustrated many scientific papers and it was whilst doing this that he developed a talent for meticulous accuracy and realism, a style he has continually pursued and refined to this day..
